A downloadable game

-Goal of the Game-

  • Your mission is to reach the moon first and establish a civilization. Using any means necessary, even betraying or scamming your friends.
    • P.S. You will have no friends by the end of the game and there is only one victor.
    • P.P.S. This game ignores physics and science.
  • Using the materials you gather or steal, you need 10+ cards that “logically” follow each other to win the game
    • For example, your cards are metal-based items or items that can fly
      • If you can convince your opponents that your cards work then any scenario is possible

-Preliminary Information-

  • Players Required: 3-5
  • 1 Dice is required for this game
    • Each card type is assigned a number on the dice and the players decide that
      • For example: Moon Cards = 1, Chance Cards = 2, Sabotage Cards = 3, Trading Cards = 4, Bonus Cards = 5, and 6 = reroll
  • Number of Cards in Deck: 100 cards
  • There are 5 types of cards
    • Moon Cards (50 cards): Allows players to accumulate items slots and provide basic materials
      • The amount of item slots will determine how many items you can sabotage and trade among players
      • Having the least amount of cards will not bode well if you want to reach the moon, but feel free to troll your friends >:)
    • Chance Cards (14 cards): Allows players to have access to a sabotage, trading, or bonus card and use it whenever they want
      • This action takes up the turn itself unless the player has a card to repeat their turn
    • Sabotage Cards (17 cards): Allows players to skip the turn of a selected player OR steal from a player
    • Trading Cards (14 cards): Allows players to trade one item from their hand with a player of choice
    • Bonus Cards (13 cards): Allows players to gain a bonus, whether it is an additional material or an extra turn

-How to Layout Your Game and Cards-

  • *Pregame information* All players will start with no cards
  • First, you separate your 5 card types into individual piles and shuffle those piles individually before starting
  • Second, by rock-paper-scissors, the order of who will draw cards is determined, and then in that order, everyone will pull 1 card from the Moon Card pile
  • Third, after pulling a Moon Card, you will place the card face up on your surface area, and this game will be messy. Everyone will know what cards you have and what you need :))
    • All of your cards will be face-up for the rest of the game
    • Note: Everyone now has one card in their possession, a random Moon Card
  • Lastly, begin the game by rolling the dice at each turn and pulling cards accordingly
    • REMEMBER! If you activate a Chance/Sabotage/Trading Card that takes up your turn

-Card Details

  • Moon Cards
    • 30 of the Moon Cards are basic items to go to the Moon
      • These basic materials range from wood to stuffed animals to jet-pack
    • 20 of the Moon Cards that look like blank boxes with a question mark with the “star level” listed on the card
      • The stars at the bottom of the card represent the star level or size of the object you can obtain.
        • You CAN’T go past the threshold of the star level, however, you can move within the threshold
        • For example: IF a 3-star metal is placed on a 1-star Moon Card, the item’s star level is too high for the Moon Card
      • *REMEMBER* that you are placing your basic item Moon Card on top of your item Moon Card with question marks— NOT switching out your cards
  • Sabotage Cards
    • If a player chooses to steal from a player, using the Sabotage card they can take material of any star level into their build
      • This can only be done twice
        • After that, the star level of your stolen basic item material must match the star level of your item Moon Card (aka the card that tells you the item size allowed within that threshold)
  • Trade Cards
    • If a player trades their item with another player, it MUST be on the same star level!
  • Bonus Cards
    • By pulling this card you can request additional material that you already own (ex: wood) or request bonus material for an item that is currently on the game floor
    • Or save this card as an extra turn after using a Chance/Sabotage/Trade card

-How to Win

  • To win you must have 10+ cards that “logically” flow
    • For example— You have metal, hammer, factory, car seats, jetpack, fruit snacks, potatoes, glass, bed, chainsaw….
      • From this, create a story that your items “logically follow” and present your case to your opponents.
        • AKA “...By combining all these elements, I can create a rocket ship using the metal and hammer-factory power. I can add comfortable rocket seats using car seats, I have a bed so I can sleep while in space. LASTLY, I can survive because my food supplies are fruit snacks and potatoes. I also have a weapon of defense, my chainsaw, against aliens and opponents. My civilization will live off of the infinite potatoes and use parts of my rocket to start a city foundation. I will be going to the Moon with these items”
  • Depending on your audience, the ridiculousness of your concoction may work in your favor!
  • Understand your materials and strategize the usage of Chance/Sabotage/Trade cards for the best moments for you, but the worst moments for your opponent
  • Have fun and mess with the different combinations to reach the Moon the quickest! Enjoy!
